Tubular Steel Stool   Made from a single steel tube

The elegant shape of the stool was mass-produced using a single continuous (3.75 cm in diameter) steel tube that was bent four times by a specially modified machine. The stools had a powder coating and came in yellow, red, black, white or polished chrome

The Tubular Steel Stool was prominently featured in Maclean's magazine in an article entitled 150 Best Things about Canada. During the time they worked together both Salmon and Hamilton designed and created other products in the same line such as the Zee chair and a bookcase. The stool is still in production today by Haworth, a furniture company.
