Dragon Ball Icewine Bottle

Fancy dessert wine

A revival in studio glass production began in the early 1970s, with many artisans achieving success by producing limited series of art glass.
In 1992, glass designer Brad Copping designed a limited edition of handmade bottles for Inniskilin Winery's annual icewine vintage. Six years later, Inniskilin commissioned Copping to create a design for their new Cabernet Franc Icewine.

Mythological theme

Copping designed this bottle specifically for the Dragon Ball, a fundraising initiative for the Chinese community. The bottle features the traditional mythological symbol of a serpent-like dragon entwining itself around the base. Each bottle is made of hand-blown glass that has been carved and sand-blasted. A limited run of 100 bottles were made, making this a very desirable collectors' item!
